Delaney Workman

Delaney is a passionate food justice advocate with experience in nonprofit programmatic expansion. Originally hailing from the blistering cold of Chicago, Delaney moved to Boston to pursue her love for large scale social change by providing technical assistance to a nation-wide initiative to eliminate sexual exploitation. Delaney has a B.A. from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, DC, studying political, economic, and social issues in global cities. Before joining the Jackfruit team, she has worked at Demand Abolition, Oxfam America, Food Tank, and World Food Program USA. Delaney spends her free time volunteering throughout the community and diving into that next great book. An avid cook, she lives in Somerville, MA and looks forward to her next traveling adventure.
